High school students nationwide are expected to take the much hated ACT or SAT. The ACT and SAT are supposed to rate students' knowledge but they fail miserably. It is impossible to go through 12 years of school in 3 hours. A solid GPA says a lot more than one test. Therefore, something must be done to change this unjust testing system because it proves nothing about an individual. The ACT and SAT have caused many headaches through the years, and for a useless purpose. There are millions of fully qualified individuals left out of their primary college choice every year because they failed to meet their required ACT or SAT score. It is not fair to judge twelve years of education on one test. During the course of a students 12 or 13 year career in school they pick up thousands of pieces of information.
